Swiffer 11804 Duster Starter Kit, Fiber Head, Plastic Handle, 6 in L Handle

If you are looking for a duster, this one is well made, but they forgot one important detail... STAYING IN ONE PIECE TO DO THE JOB! The instructions say, "slide" the dusting element onto the shaft. That's ALL IT SAYS! Well, I tried that, over and over and over, until I got very upset with it falling off every ten seconds!

However, I've found a way to secure the duster that requires nothing extra, except a couple extra minutes of time...

Slide the duster onto the shaft as instructed... But now tie the dust element onto the plastic slotted end by using two of the "white" strip pieces of the duster element together slid thru the slots in the slotted plastic holder. (See my attached photo) Do this on each side and at both ends of the duster element and it will stay securely in place will dusting. I use four ties altogether... See photo. I marked arrows pointing at two of my tie points.

I'm pretty sure they (Swiffer) didn't intend this method of securing it, or they would've put it in their instructions!

I can reach the top of most things and fans with this without a step stool. I do have a high ceiling with a wide fan that I cant completely dust without a stool. Having the duster head angle is a big plus for fans and reaching the top of cabinets, book shelves, and windows.

This product makes it so easy to reach ceiling fan blades and anything that you previously had to stretch to reach. Makes cleaning so quick and easy.

Using the variety of Swiffer's surely makes life easier when it comes to cleaning house.

I have used Swiffer dusters for awhile now, and have been happy with them. However, my new place has cathedral ceiling with a ceiling fan, and I need a real extension to even reach the fan. There's no way I will ever be able to reach the corners where cobwebs pop up, and I'm too old to get out a ladder every time I need to dust. Get with times, Swiffer, and offer a real extension handle before everyone with a newer house has to switch to some other product that will reach the corners.

One of my favorite cleaning tools. I use it to get dust in places I used to avoid because I hated the hassle of getting a ladder out and toting it around to clean. Now "hard to reach" areas like the ceiling fan, wall mounted tv, recessed lighting, and framed artwork are a breeze to clean thanks to this product. Before I toss the used duster in the trash, I get extra use by tackling often missed areas like the back of the cabinet under kitchen sink or the area behind litter box or even empty fireplace. The best best part is tossing the duster in trash can when finished and not having to deal with additional rags to wash! LOVE IT !!!! Thank you P&G !!!!

I did not think that puting the duster head on was so difficult. So I went on line to swiffer.com to review the demonstration. Only to find that the girl that was giving the demonstration also never got the head on either!!!
If and when I do get the head on maybe I will have a more positive review!

I decided to paint my garage this summer but in order to do that I had to clean and prepare the walls for paint. I researched the Swiffer products and decided to give them a try. Wow!! Fifteen years worth of cobwebs, dirt and bugs gone in no time!! A regular broom would have taken a lot longer and would not have cleaned nearly as well. Buy this product; you will not be sorry!!

Hiow do you clean you aggravating ceiling fan? The best I have found is the extendable Swiffer duster. Wow how easy it is to just swish once or twice a week and no dust. Try it....You will love it. It is also a great dust buster for ceiling trip and little things you cant reach without climbing on a step stool.

I live in an industrial-style loft (18 ft. ceilings) with my two cats. I have sheer panels that I use on my 12 ft. high windows as window treatments. Unfortunately, the cats are frequently sitting in the windows watching the world go by and depositing their sheddings. The ONLY way that I could possibly reach most of these panels is with the Swiffer Duster Extender (plus a ladder!). I just tried the product with Febreze added. Swiffers are great but adding the scent really adds to the cleaning results. Not only does the Swiffer clean great, now it smells great too!

I truly hate cleaning ,but I dont make enough money to hire anyone unfortunately.But with Swiffer prouducts,especially the Swiffer 360 Duster Extender ,cleaning I hate to admit is somewhat fun ,I just put music on and reach high and low and in between and Swiffer 360 Duster does most of the work,and by clinging to dirt so easy I dont really have to strain , A big plus is If Im wearing a nice outfit or the color white reaching up to dust like a ceiling fan or somthing above I dont have to worry about dust coming down on me like most other dusters that have the dust flying everywear and on me or the kids,so I can dust even around the family or before I got ou

I love using the swiffer dusters, they pick up the dust with little effort on my part. The extendable arm helps me reach places I normally can't without a ladder. I am currently professionally cleaning homes and offices and I choose swiffer as my tool of choice.

This product is really great if you have a coal stove. It is so quick to get rid of the dust from it. Also can use on the stove. What is great is my husband likes to dust now!!!!

Ads had caught by attention, had the skepticism we often have with ads. Pleasantly surprised by my experience. Swiffer 360 lived up to the ads and made my dusting more efficient and thus more likely to get down. Dusting also a more pleasant experience.

I have wrought iron chairs, If you spin it around like you would have to to get down inside, then pull it out, duster comes off the fork. Used masking tape to hold it on.

Too short for the average person to reach the ceiling. Very difficult to thread the dusters and prongs constantly poke through.
Waste of money.
