Ticonderoga Beginners Woodcase Pencil with Eraser and Microban Protection, HB (#2), Black Lead, Yell

These are the chubby pencils used in preschool and kindergarten. You will need a special sharpener to fit these pencils. The larger lead allows us to see your kids writing where the regular size pencils are a fine tip and doesn't show up on her homework papers very well.

These pencils are absolutely the best pencils the quality is great. The eraser on the pencil is excellent as well. Every year my child's School prefers these pencils over all others. You definitely cannot go wrong with this brand!

My daughter is just learning how to write letters and the Ticonderoga Beginner pencils have been perfect for her. They are large enough that she can easily hold her pencil properly and have a good grip on the pencil while writing letters. Like all Ticonderoga pencils, the beginner pencils are great quality. The tip is strong enough so that when she applies too much pressure on the tip it doesn’t break. The wood is also strong and durable.These pencils come in a pack of 12 unshapened pencils therefore she has plenty of pencils to last her a while.

I received the Beginner W/eraser  12 CT American Wood Logo pencils, and I love them! I have a 5 year old in preschool that is learning to write and he says that he loves them. My son says that they are so comfortable to hold. I totally recommend these pencils.

First off let me say I did have a hard time finding a sharpener to fit this pencils but my kids was able to get it done at school. I have one child in high school and one in grammer 5th grade so they use a lot of pencils and I enjoy writing poetry so I use them often as well. I found the quality really upstanding and the grip very nice. I often tend to squeeze my pencils hard because they slip when my hands sweat and I had no problem. I would definitely buy these and recommend them to a friend. Note to self buy pencil sharpener with the two wholesale lol

I am a homeschool parent and I am very picky about the school supplies we use. These pencils are so strong and durable and don’t break the second we try to sharpen them. A good quality wood pencil is really important when you have a child who is learning to write well. I would definitely recommend these to other parents or even teachers.

The pencils are a little big but not like some that are HUGE. Children can easily grip these and hold on to them. The don’t sharpen in a regular sharpener so be aware of that. They should last a child a little while but are perfect for little learning hands

My daughter who is 9 likes these pencils. There are wider and easier to hold and use. Theybare very good quality and a good solid pencil. I would highly recommend these pencils for kids around this age frame.

These pencils are amazing. They write wonderful, nice smooth lines, erases well, and dont nred sharpened alot. Most kids write heavy, after one day of using normal pencils they need sharpened a few time, this one was sharpened once all day. This is an amazing feat. Definitely reccomend to anyone who goes through school pencils

These beginner pencils are amazing. They fit just perfect in my 2 year olds hand as well as my 7 year old. They both love the feel. The lead is amazing and writes without issue easy to sharpen although you have to use a bigger sharpener. Great for any small hands learning to write!

Ticonderoga beginner pencils are thick and sturdy. It has a nice grip for young kids who are just learning to write. My toddler got hang of writing fairly easier after I switched to these. Highly recommend it!

We are always losing our pencils at home and homework time always involves a pre-hunt. I knew I wanted to buy a box and be set for at least a month. I had never heard of pencils being made that were thicker in diameter. But I figured if they existed there must  be a benefit for my little ones. And oh wow! These pencils make it so much easier to grip when children are already struggling with forming letters and mastering the alligator mouth grip, this thickness is so much easier for them and gives them added confdence that they are succeeding. I also like that they not break because my six yr old is a bit of a fidgeter and now I worry less he will snap them in two. Great product, will continue to buy these for my kids to help them on their new school journey.

I bought this about a month ago for my child and this absolutely works wonders. It is very sick which makes it easy for him to grasp, as well as my husband loves this he is a carpenter and when he cannot find his pencils these ones work great for him as well. They don't break like the thinner ones do.

This pencil size is helping my toddler write better cause it's more thicker than normal pencil so its fits better with her small hand. Definitely recommend for kids who started to learn to write. Love this Ticonderoga Begginer.
