If you are responsible for maintaining an accurate records management system, the Smead Expanding File (Alphabetical) will keep your office and desk area in order. Simply place all paperwork in the appropriate alpha slot until time to file away. This is an excellent method for the organized records manager to use to keep all materials in one spot and in order.

The product is very good, but the biggest problem is the bottom can't keep up with the top. A wider bottom would accomodate for the amount of room the top of the folder can hold. However without the changes the product is a staple in my office.

These expandable filling folders are awesome. They help keep my credit card receipts all in one place when I have to reconcile the boss's credit card at the end of the month. It's easier to have the receipts in date-order and saves time when I have to match them up to the statement. Thanks for saving me time! It's not as painful to complete this task anymore!

I just love the Smead Expanding File Alphabetic for filing my Accounts Payable Vendor invoices in alphabetic order. When a vendor calls regarding an invoice for payment, I just go to my expanding file and pull the invoice. I've been using the expanding alphabetic file since 1993 when I started accounting, and it works great. Thank you.

I love this product! I work for a busy medical office with 10 physicians. I can keep three months' worth of A/P invoices in this file without a problem. It holds up extremely well even with handling on a near-daily basis. The file then fits into a bankers box without a problem and I can store two years' worth in one box. I didn't know if I'd like not having the top flap to close the file, but I won't go back to the other type now.

This product is very useful in a large corporation especially when you have to distribute sheets to all employees. It makes it very easy to find the employee and give them their document.

If you have to keep track of anything on a dailey basis, these are for you. I love the endurance, and the ease of how they fit into file cabinets. They are also perfect for home use, when limited space is available, because they can be kept on a desk without being too obstructive.

For our busy medical office organization is a must! The alphabetic pockets are great to keep documents and patient information neatly together without confussion!

This product is sturdy and durable and helps me to organize all my college exams and sets so that I can easily refer back to them. It is really easy to use and does not wear down.

These expanding file folders are life changing for me, enabling me to do my job with ease. I am an auto insurance agent. I use this product daily. I re - label it.... instead of alphabetical order I use the tabs to organize my "papes" as I call them, into different kinds of policies. Also, takes up very little space on my desk, allowing me to not make a mess of my desk, less "pape" mess, less hassle, happy broker!!

I actually use them in combination with the 31 pocket daily expandable file. I put all my bills flyers birthday cards and notes in the monthly files as I come across them. Then each month I take all the papers out the current month pocket and separate them in the daily folder . Each night I pull out the next days papers and I am ready to go.

This heavy duty expanding file is what we use in office for cataloging. I've tried others but this product is sturdy and is well constructed. No need to worry about the sections coming apart. Highly recommended

The first issue with this product is the packing. The item is shrink wrapped too tightly thus causing the file to bow. Second issue the file has a paper cover poorly glued to the front. It has bubbles in some places. The third thing is the label which is glued to a plastic strip. The problem with this is that the glue amount runs over and thus the label is glued to the file itself and thus there is no way to get the label and the plastic strip off without tearing the paper covered glued to the file. I don have one positive, the staggered alphabet tabs.

Great for keeping files organized while on-the-go!!

I have used your expandable monthly folder for years.  I have had two different jobs in the past ten years and I have used them in both jobs. LOVE THEM!!  As a secretary for a school I pay bills. We are audited at the end of the school year and this product keeps each month separated wonderfully for my job.  Once the audit is complete it fits wonderfully into a storage where that is all I have to file away and I'm done.  Great product.  The only thing that I would suggest is that it be offered in a little larger expandable size if possible.  Some months have a lot of activity and when you put vouchers receipts and everything collected in a month in the month sections sometimes it's pretty full.  Not every month but just occasionally.  That is the only thing that I could recommend improvement on.  That isn't often.  This product is GREAT!!!!

Our company gets Audited every three years. During the audit the inspectors will ask to see random documents from each month in the past three years.  We are required to keep paper copies as well as electronic files.  The Smead Tuff monthly organizer makes it easy for our employees to provide the documents in a timely manner when the auditors inquire about them.
