TUFF Hanging Folders with Easy Slide Tab, Letter Size, 1/3-Cut Tab, Red, 18/Box

I work in an office where the hanging file folders are touched and moved an unbelievable amount during an 8 hour work day. Smead TUFF Hanging Folders last through all of this. Our other folders had to be replaced on a regular basis but Smead TUFF Hanging Folders have not been replaced yet and we started using them about 2 years ago. They are great!

This is such a great tool...you can slide the tabs for easy find in the file and not have to remove the tab and reinsert to make finding a file easier...just slide for easy location of your files! Yeah Smead!!!

I like how strong these folders are. The tabs are super easy to reposition. Best of all though, I use the colors to help me organize by category and quickly find what I need. This is a great system!!!

When I married up the TUFF series of hanging folders with the Viewables Tabs, I did so in the hope of never having to replace folders or tabs again. It was an investment worth every dime! Not only have the files been able to endure rough handling that would have destroyed any other hanging file, they continue to slide quietly back to their home in the filing cabinet, thanks to the easy-slide design of the reinforced robs. While engineered obsolesce is common in many products, these TUFF files have continued to do their job admirably for many years. The return on investment is realized quickly when you buy top Quality. That quality is found in the Smead TUFF series of folders.

We like that the tabs slide on and off, and that there are little notches to keep the tab slides in place. Over all very useful. We'd prefer to have a printable label sheet, so we can have typed labes without using the 3D labels.

I picked up a couple of these hanging folders at an IAAP conference recently and began using them. They are fantastic! The oversized tabs allow me to put more information on the tab and they take punishment like no other hanging folder product I've ever used.

Love these hanging folders as they are durable and have the tab built-in. No longer need to have a file folder inside a hanging folder. Saves money and space.

I love how durable this product is, so far it's held up to 50 plus sheets of paper!

Overall this is a very good product. Sometimes though if the file has too many papers in it, it has a tendency to bow out and come off the track.

I had the opportunity to attend the IAAP EFAM Conference in Milwaukee, WI in July. This being my 2nd year, I look forward to the Marketplace and seeing all the innovative products. One of the freebies I picked up was samples of the Smead Tuff Hanging folders! I'm in love! These folders are great. I can file large amounts of documents without worrying about the folder caving in. I also like the easy tabs! Great product!

Use them all the time, very handy and keeps my files organized.

Label printing is a pain. Customer service suggests using a typewriter.
I want to import data from excel and print from my laptop.

These are really great.  You are able to file a lot in them and can stick them in tight spaces and not have to worry about them tearing.

I use the heavy duty folders for my daily files so that means they are constantly being handled and moved and stuffed. They have held up well and the markings/gold hangers help set them apart in the cabinet.

Had I known the Tab/Labels were not user friendly, with templates available online to enter info and print labels, I would not have ordered this product. I have always used Avery/Pendaflex in the past and will return to purchasing these products - until or unless Meade comes into reality. We don't keep typewriters anymore for typing antiquated labels, so I will be handwriting 240 labels for my new file folders in my new Lateral Filing Cabinet!!! Very Disappointed!!!

I use these to keep all my home files organized.  Very easy to use and sturdy.

I love these folders.  I just starting working on my file cabinet ...replacing the old folders that did not
hold up well with these new Tuff folders.  They are much better to work with.  They slide easier on the rails and are much nicer looking then the old ones.
The only problem is that we need more colors such ad......orange, violet, pink,brown, copper,silver,raspberry.
