Displays video on a VGA or DVI monitor or projector via your computer or laptops USB 2.0 port. You can extend video from your primary display to another, duplicate the same video on both displays or change the second display to your primary display. Supports high-definition video resolutions up to 1920 x 1080 (1080p) @ 60hz. Perfect for the job

I purchased two external monitors for my laptop but when connecting them the splitter I had would not produce 3 independent screen areas. I researched and found this product which arrived quicker than expected and plugged it in and the driver was automatically downloaded from Microsoft Update and the 3rd monitor instantly began to function as expected.

Get this for easy dual screen setup

We used a few other brands prior to going to Tripp Lite. We have abandoned the others and use Tripp Lite exclusively for our dual monitor setups. We have well over 50 workstations using this product. Competitive price with other brands minus the grief that others cause. Thank you Tripp Lite.

Excellent support for Surface with Windows 8

Purchased a U244-001-VGA-R to extend the screen of a Windows Surface tablet running Windows 8. The U244-001-VGA-R has the same maximum screen resolution and works well feeding from the single USB port on the Surface. A great solution since there is not VGA port on the Surface tablet.

Plugged it in, software downloaded automatically, and now it's working. Done and Done.

Driver for OS X 10.10

Hello, I love this product and would recommend it to anybody. However, am just wondering if there is going to be a driver for OS X 10.10. The old driver does not work well. Ghost images do appear besides the original application window. It is very visible with Microsoft OCS application for OS X

Does not support Mac OS 10.10

I loved this unit driving two monitors from my 3 year old MacBook Pro running OS 10.7.

Bought a new MacBook Air and had to wipe 10.10 off and re-install 10.9.

Then had to update my old apps with hard to find previous to 10.10 versions.

So if this won't be a problem for you or if Tripp upgrades to support OS 10.10 you'd be happy with the U244-001-R

VGA adapter works well

The adapter did exactly what I wanted to do with no fuss. I would have like a longer USB cable but was able to buy one due the the standard connector that it uses.
Just love the product

The set-up was easy and love the ability to use dual monitors. I didn't know what I was missing before using a single monitor.

I would buy again!

Would be 5 stars but the supplied driver didn't work. Tripp Lite website squared me away with correct driver for Win 7 Pro 64 bit. All is well!

Works as promised, very pleased, freindely Tech support

Installation required a call to technical support where I received friendly and competent support. Found out my PC was missing a critical windows driver. Once reinstalled installation was very easy.
