These are the best file tabs -- very durable and simple to set up. I bought them to use for organizing our Toastmaster club materials and documents. I like being able to adjust the color coding and the large print (and ability to adjust print size) makes it easy for all members to easily find what they need.

This is one of the best organizing tools I've ever used. At-a-glance file contents make for easy retrieval and refiling. Colors, colors and more colors! Smead Viewables Label System
I have been using the Smead Viewables Label system for over 10 years. My current and past employers have always been able to locate what they needed without having to ask me where a folder was. It is extremely easy to use. Just type in the information you want on the label, print it out and attach to Tab. Color coding is so simple - no one can get it wrong. You can keep all your tabs in a straight line and see everything all at once. Very easy to read. Love this product and will continue to use it as longs as it is made. Thank You Smead for a GREAT product.

I can see all my file headings!
This is one of the smartest inventions since filing began! Bold, colorful type on sturdy tabs that withstand heavy use. Great for the seasoned office professional but a 'must have' for the folks who have a real aversion to filing. These make filing so much easier and less time consuming because you can see/read from almost every angle!

The Best Invention Since Sliced Bread!
I absolutely love the Smead Viewables system. I use them personally and, as a professional organizer, I encourage all of my clients to use them for their personal and business files. The 3D hanging tabs make finding files in a crowded filing cabinet a breeze and it's wonderful to be able to color code tabs by subject.

I love Smead Viewable Labeling hanging folders. They are professional, color coded and so easy to see and find the folders you are looking for when placed in any filing cabinet. Best way to organize your files
Using the Smead Viewables labeling system has greatly reduced the misplacement of important paper files. The development of the system was a quantum leap in systems of this type. With the color coding of the labels that you can use, seldom do I have to spend time searching for information.

Your Labeling System is the best. I fund raise for a boys home. Recently, some of my staff were in my office when I opened my desk drawer. They saw my files and were so complimentary of "how well organized" I was. Now they want to get the same labels for their files. Best file organizing tool ever!
If you have a lot of files that you have to access quickly there is no better organizing tool than the Smead Viewables Labeling System. I manage our corporate trade show program with about 40 events per year and I have a Viewables tab file for each event which makes it a breeze to find the file and any hard copy documents associated with that event. The Viewables tabs are readable from above so I can go to the file cabinet and quickly locate the event I'm looking for. I've received numerous compliments of how well organized this system is visually when my colleagues walk by and see the Viewables tabs displayed by event name and date. I couldn't ask for a better filing system than the Viewables tab system and I highly recommend you get one, too!

Helpful,affordable and fun
I LOVE this product!!! I had so much fun revamping my files. Now when I open a file drawer I don't have to push them around to see what I need, Its all written on top. I can color coordinate everything!!!! There is so much room for details. and best of all they look so clean and organized. If you buy one office product this year make it the Viewables system!!!!!

Smead Viewables is the greatest thing to happen to files since the hanging folder was invented. I love how I can quickly see the contents of my folder, but I can also color code the labels for quick scanning. I love this product so much, I have turned on more than 10 people to it! I could never go back to the old hanging file labels.

I love Smead Viewables....I wish they would sell them at more office supply stores! I have been using them to organize my office files for years. It is so much neater than writing labels and they hold up over time, unlike label-maker labels. LOVE THEM!!!!!!

So organized with Smead Viewables!
We hired a new executive and he brought this product to my attention. We had him set up and organized in no time and now others want the system as well. Used cost saving manilla folders and green hanging folders. The color tabs in this product allowed us to save money with the cheaper floders. The files look great and everything is so easy to find with these labels. We colored coded by topic, then alphabetized by company. Great product, we have more on order.

Have used these for years
I have been using the Smead Viewable labeling system for many years now. Once you get the software set up, they're easy to use. If you save the last batch of labels, when you reopen thenViewable software it remembers where you left off on the label sheet. Very nice. No waste. I just keep my label sheet next to my printer for convenience. Just load your label sheet in the printer drawer, create your labels on you computer, print and assemble. Best of all, these labels can take a beating with heavy use. You do have to create a label assembly process, but once you get the hang of it you're good to go.

I absolutely love the Smead Viewables Labeling System 64942. It makes opening the file drawers in our office like taking in a breath of fresh air! They are so organized! The bright colors make it a joy to open the drawers! I love the way that everything is so easy to find, I use different colors for different letters and then the folders within the files are color coordinated to match. The impressive appearance these labels give your files is top notch, bar none; not to mention their huge impact on actual organization and efficiency. This product has saved me a lot of time, you can customize the printing to folder tab, file tab, etc. you can do a lot of things and can color coordinate. I love this system and would strongly recommend to have in your home or office. I use this for both my home and office. The labels standout and can be easily found.

the refill pack does not need additional hanging file tabs. there should be a refill available without the hanging tabs. i have several boxes of the hanging tabs when i had need for only paper ones

Last purchased product on my visit to the USA in 2005. Had a need to rename my stored files, however the software originally used had been lost when upgrading PC. Great news when I was able to find that the company products were still available,albeit for me via on-line search. Software now loaded and able to print. Already had a stock of labels. Great product and system easy to use

I LOVE these labels! The software is easy to use and the labels are easy to assemble. They are very sturdy so you don't have to worry about them coming out of the slots or bending. Labels are much easier to read using this system, thus making it that much faster to find what you need. The use of color to separate your filing sections is genius! Any product that makes filing easy is definitely an essential product in any home or office.

Filing can be time consuming without the proper tools. With the viewables labeling system, it is organized, color coded, fast and easy to read - now I WANT to file! In an office, you will always have some paper files that are necessary. This is the system to use so everything is easy to file and easy to find!

After years of haphazard filing habits, I finally discovered that the best way to position labels on files is in a single row in the file drawer. This made instinctive sense to me but it was the Smead Viewables system that actually brought this concept to life. After doing over 190 labels - which look beautiful - I am unable to close the wooden drawers of the filing cabinet. Now they either have to be cut or stapled lower to fix in the drawer. No, I do not recommend this product.

Be ABLE to VIEW your file names with VIEWABLES

Smead Viewables is the best label system!
I love the new Smead Viewables because it's so easy to use. I love the fact that you can change the fonts and can export your label list to Excel. However I do like the older version better for two reasons: 1. The old version allowed you to save your file to another location like an external drive instead of your computer. 2. The old version allowed you to use standard file folder labels which the new one requires you to use the Viewables label I hope Smead will reconsider their choices and make a new version that will include these 2 functions available again. In the meantime I just use the old version to print and save my labels.

An absolute must in the office
I was first introduced to SMEAD Viewables when I was at a local office supply store. I decided to start off with one package since it seemed like a good idea for organizing my bosses files. My boss has tons of client files and often has several files on her desk so I thought it would be a good idea to make it easier to find files when they are in a large pile or in the actual filing cabinet. The problem I was often facing was the file folder labels covering up the hanging file folder tab with the client's name. Not only does that not happen anymore, but I can also include a lot more information on the actual 3D tab, like a maiden name or spouse /partner's name. I also like how there is a color coding function, which has allowed me to color code each file based on whose client it is. I absolutely love this product and highly recommend it to any business owner. It will simplify your life!

Viewables are a Lifesaver
I began my own organizing business as a part time job in order to supplement my income. I came across the Smead Viewables Labeling System when working on a business filing system. What a lifesaver! Best Labeling System - Ever!!!
I had an auditor come to review my files and when he opened my file drawer he said his review was done. He stated that anyone whose files look this good did not need to be reviewed. How cool is that? I have recommended this filing system to all of the admins in my company and some have taken my advice.

Every single work day it was a struggle to sort the mail into our staff's "mailboxes" (hanging files) because the flat labels on the files were hard to see and hard to read. Then I purchased ViewablesÐ’® Color Labeling System and installed it. Wow, what a difference! Hanging files were now color-coded by department, making it a breeze to locate individual staff. The wrap-around labels could be viewed from the top, the front, and the back. Staff were delighted with the new system, commenting that it was neater, looked much more professional, and the color-coding made it easy to find their files. Thanks, Smead, for a great product!

Smead Speed Viewable File Folders
We're here live at an office building in Texas where everything is always bigger! We've just found an employee coming out of the lobby. Excuse me, Miss? Can you tell us about your Number One Organizational tip? "Well of course! I have been using SMEAD'S Viewable Labeling System since the day it came out! I was forever running my fingers through all my files trying to find the right letter of the alphabet to search for my file folder. I was bending my files back so I could read them. For a perfectionist, this is quite irritating! The moment I saw SMEAD'S Viewables, I kneww my problem had bee solved!! Now it only takes a quick moment to type a label, pick a color, and print! I can now quickly locate the file in my drawer by the first letter being bold and the title on top. No more bent files and I don't have to touch any file! I simply look straight down and see my file!! I love SMEAD products! They are so smart and innovative! Their ideas are as big as Texas!"

Not only do these wonderful Viewables allow your to better organize your files; but, once you do organize them, you can actually see them so easily. Every once in a great while, there is a desk drawer that will not hold them, but overall they are the greatest thing since homemade apple pie!

Love the Smead Viewables Labeling System. All of my files are well organized and easy to find. Anyone in the office can locate items with ease when I am not in the office. Bright colors and bold type is appreciated now that I'm not as young as I used to be! Also the label protectors extend the life of the tabs so I rarely need to make replacement tabs. I've used this product for approximately 10 years now and will never go to another system. I have recommended this labeling systems to my colleagues at other schools.

I love these tabs, they beat my handwriting.
When I first found this product. I bought the very first production. Before the colored version came out. Then when the color product, I liked them even better. I like the fact that the print on the labels did not smudge. At first the labels were a little difficult to put on the tabs. The nice thing was you were able to retry. The label protection was great. It prevented the labels from getting dirty. I will continue using this product for a very long time.

Smead viewable labels are truly the best labels I've ever used. The software is very easy to use. I love that you can print some labels and when you're ready to print new ones it remembers where to start on the same label sheet so you don't have to figure that out or waste a used sheet. I love that you can color code your labels and I really love that you can read what's in a file from all sides! My friends are so impressed by how my files look. I love the look, ease, and durability of Smead labels.

Viewables labels make find a file easy
When you open a file drawer and all you see are file tabs and papers, and you usually have to move papers out of the way to see all the file tabs. With viewable labels you can see file tabs much easier, and because they stand higher, they are not blocked by papers and other tabs. Plus the color coding and large print make it easy for your eyes to scan a file drawer and find the file you want. We set up a numbering system which works great with viewable labels. We use these labels exclusively for all our file drawers - attractive organization is a wonderful thing!

This product is by far my favorite from Smead. Though a bit labor intensive to create the benefit of having clear site of the tab title regardless of whether its in a lower drawer or high up is great. The ability to create categories by color also helps the individual find what they are looking for and to return the item to its home.

The best CYA product EVER!
What a life-saver! I save the labels for all my customer files. When someone says,"Where's the file? You didn't make a file," I open my Viewable program and show them, "There it is. Did you take it and misplace - read lose - it?" It is also great for recurring monthly files. No more typing them out each and every month. Just open the file and change the month. Please put a "FIND" command in your next version.

I've been using the Viewable Label System for our files since 2005. We love the look, I can select different colors for different areas for our files. I don't expect to use anything other filing systems.

I use to hate filing...but with Smead Viewables now I love filing!!! My files are so easy to see and I can quickly locate the particular file. I use to dread filing not any more! I tell EVERYONE who has files about Smead Viewables!!!

FINALLY organized home files
I can finally FIND what I need in a matter of "seconds" not hours. This is the best filing system I have ever seen or used. Everything is clear and I can see the labels from any angle IS GREAT and I would recommend to anyone especially those who have tried almost every product and are still unorganized.

I love the fact that all files have a front and back and, most importantly, the top is easy to read. Of course, you have to make sure you are 100% organized before you begin making the labels - they aren't cheap - but they are so worth the effort!

Our engineering firm uses the Smead Viewables Labeling System for all our files. They are so easy to use and my staff appreciates how easy it is to locate their projects. I also use them for all my accounting and HR files. They're virtually indestructible, the tabs stay in place, and you have a variety of colors to choose from. I wouldn't ever go back to old labels and tabs!

These are great to organize your files and create a file system for schools, especially, my only issue is that the software does not allow you to upload/inport large amounts of information for labels. You have to type every single label individually. For a school like mine with over 700 students, this makes it very tedious and labor intensive. The ability to mail merge or inport the data into the SMEAD viewables software would make this more useful and efficient for large labeling/filing projects.

Smead Viewables are Fantastic!
I love the Smead Viewables color coded labeling system. With all the various categories we have here at work, any employee can easily find the file they are looking for due to the size and color coded for that particular project. The system is easy to use and the labels are extremely durable! I would recommend to anyone who has not tried this product to give it a whirl, especially if they need multiple colors for their projects.

I am HR Manager of a company with mulitple locations. I use Viewables for the personnel filing system. I color code them by location. Since I file them all together alphabetically, using a color system makes my search of files for a particular individual a little easier. I also include the employee's SSN and Hire Date on the tab, also saving some time. Only criticism is I would like to be able to purchase the tabs separately. I always have labels and label protectors left over so additional tabs would be more economical.

No more searching in the wrong place
I purchased this product to help my boss get her files in order. i started working with it and love love it. i made labels for all the girls in our office, for my office at home and my office at church. there is no more searching in the wrong place for files because now we can see everything... This labeling software system is a complete package so you're ready to get to work immediately. Labels are easy to create and can be printed in color. Viewing the labels in a file drawer is easy and they are more substantial than insertable tab labels. I love 'em.

As you can tell, I love this product. It has made finding the right file sooo much easier. The old way of doing it took more time as some of the clear tabs were bent or at an angle, making them harder to read and taking more time as I would have to thumb thru to find the right one. With this system all I have to do is look down and right there it is. And the different colors help aid in organizing my files into groups.

Needs Mac Compatible Software
This is a great product. Very user friendly and easy to install. My filing system looks neat, organized, and professional.The only reason that I don't give this product 5 stars is that the software isn't Mac compatible. I have an iMac, but still use my PC laptop to run applications and software that only support Windows. With Apple products becoming more popular, you should make labeling software that is Mac compatible. I love the Viewables Labeling System, it's the only one of its kind I have seen. I'm sure if your software were Mac compatible you would expand your customer base and also make your products more marketable.

These work very well for files needed extra levels of organization, allowing extra tabs to be used. While they area little bulky, they serve their purpose well. It is also handy to be able to read from the top and sides of the files.

I have been using this product for several years. While not cheap, it is a great product for organizing your home or office files. Being able to print in different colors and have names on top of the file folders, make it a breeze to easily identify and find a file quickly. Also makes it harder to misfile something.

Professional Labeling System
I have been using these labels for several years now, and I must say, the color coding of my files are easier to locate, are easy to read, and even has a professional look when the drawer is opened. It is easy to retrieve and retain files in alpha order when needing to replace files. I match the colored hanging files with the same name and colored file folder. Wonderful, and practical, sheet labels make it perfect to print all the labels needed at one time - even in different colors and different types of labels!

3D Labeling, BEST System Ever!
I have been using this system for over 10 years in our offices. It is the most efficient way to keep your files organized. Its customization is very easy to navigate and the saving features always comes handy for the following year, when its time to start making new files again. The color coding is very useful and makes it easy for anyone using the files, to return folders to its appropriate place in the file. I use this system at home as well. My kids also used it through their school years. This "Viewables Labeling System" has helped us with our office organizations offering everyone a very quick sorting and easy way to spot files in the cabinet. The software used with this system is very user friendly and the customization of colors and fonts are a timesaver! I love the large and colorful labels and the fact that you can vew from 3 positions, top, front or back. This is a FANTASTIC PRODUCT! You must give it a try...

Durable and Easily Printable
I used this product to help organize all my personal files at home. I was able to print the labels whenever I needed to and they are much more sturdy than the tabs that came with the hanging folders. The color coding was also very important so I could identify the folder contents without even having to read the label first. I will continue to buy this product as my needs grow.

I purchased these for home and office and while it looks to be a great way to label your files the software to get started is not user friendly. It takes way too many steps to even get it onto your PC then you need to figure out how to get your information printed. Definitely not user friendly!

Smead Viewables Labeling System is requested by all the staff in our office. It make organization and filing so much faster....just ask our AP department when they need to find an invoice! We have used the system for years and we order refills regularly. It is well worth it!

The worst part of my job is filing. I used to dread it until I found these. They make it so easy to see where everything belongs and definitely help minimize paper cuts since you don't have to touch every file to see the name. Nice clear view from the top when you open the drawer. Wished I had found these years ago.

I just added the refill pack for my files. I love the look of these tabs and the ability to label and color code my tabs as i choose. I would have liked to see a suggested tab title list to make it easier to determine what to call it. Very user friendly to use software. Better if you have color printer to create the color labels. I think the product is awesome.

Absolutely LOVE this label system
I can't say enough about how much I love this system and how easy it is to use! I love that it keeps track of which labels are left once you've printed so you do not waste any labels -- I love that you can see what is in a file from all sides and top! I love that it's color coated and that it has a protective covering for the labels once they are done for better protection against smearing! Everyone who has seen my new files has asked me what system I used! I would so highly recommend this product!!!!!

Sadly only works with Windows PC and not Mac. I had to download a copy of Windows Operating system onto my Macbook Pro to use the product. The ability to color code and have easy to see labels is helpful. The labels do not stick to the plastic tabs without the additional adhesive film and that's a drawback. Otherwise worked well and filled my need to have an organized labeling system

not maintainable in the long run
Loved this system when we first set up our filing. The color coding really makes things easier to find. THEN we went to MAC and Apple software, lost access to the PC/Windows world, and we can't label any new files. It can't be that difficult to write an IOS version! You're smart people!

I am always happier when I am organized and I am never organized enough. I saw your Viewables at an account of mine and fell in love. He did not know where his secretary got them, but that didn't stop me. I went online and finally found them. I started with the starer kit and have bought 2 large fills since then. I have turned everyone I know on to them and there is not one disappointed person. Thank you for making me even a little bit more OCD! I am so happy!

Fast, Clean, Professional
The advent of the viewable labeling system became a real game changer to filing systems. Not only are the plastic tabs robust, but the computer generated labels stick with tenacity, once applied. I've never had to worry about labels pulling off or fading over time, thanks to the label protectors. The real genius is the 3D view of top, side and back that allows the eye to quickly identify the needed file folder. Not only can the label be seen from any angle, but the separated, capitalized letters and color coding, instantly draws one's attention to the right section and then only a moment later to the detailed file information. I've used this system since they first came out and some of the tabs are several years old. Not one is broken or faded and works as well today as when they were first installed. The Smead labeling system will help keep your growing company organized and with its rapid filing/retrieval ability, will save that most precious commodity in business...time!

New program download a disappointment
We have used Viewables for many years. Now that our computers all use Windows 7 we had to update to 4.0. Our old files don't import and this is no longer a solution for creating many files at once. If you need to create very few labels at a time then this is still a good solution

Program bug does not let me print
I just purchased this product and when I try to print, it says "Smead Viewables program has stopped working." and it closes the program. I just spent HOURS entering my label names (hundreds) into the Smead Viewables program and now I cannot print them! I have tried to print numerous times and the program will give me the same error message over and over again! PLEASE HELP!

Great product, can be tricky
This product is very effective. It has simple, easy-to-use software, which is great. Files are much easier to read. My only complaint is that the labels and protectors are almost the exact same size as the plastic tabs, so applying them can be a bit tricky.

I love these colorful labels. I can find what I need fast when I open a file drawer, and it looks great. No messy handwritten tabs. The software is completely uncomplicated, so very quick and easy to make labels. I like that I can make a whole sheet of different labels, or print individual labels on the sheet, so no wasting labels.

My rating was based on the fact that you can't get additional products. All you can order are refills. I don't want refills. I have labels and I have label covers, I want tabs. If I was able to order individual products, my rating would have been 'excellent'

I was really excited about this system (Viewables 3D Labeling System) until I loaded the CD and high hopes were shattered. 1. The systems comes with NO real instructions. 2. It took 24-hrs to load the CD. 3. I figured out how to add information for the labels. 4. I typed in over 35 labels and NOW I IT WILL NOT PRINT! I've tried HELP and the instructions do not help because there's no resolved listed for the issue I'm having. I have to do some type of alignment but I can't get to that point. There's no troubleshoot. I 'm totally frustrated!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I do all of my filing at work with Smeed Viewables. The tabs are above the actual folder so makes it much easier to do filing. I recommend this product to anyone who has to set up files in their office.

The Smead Viewables Labeling System is a fantastic way of keeping documents and files labeled and organised. I love the colour coding and how easily one is able to see the labels and names. There is so much space for additional information to keep things close together and within easy access. I am fascinated with this product!

Puts the FUN in Functional!
I love these tabs. The software and template are extremely easy to download and use. The refills are affordable. We even reuse the plastic tabs cutting down on company waste. They look really sharp in the cabinet and make filing fun and easy. Good job SMEADS!

The Viewables Refill Kit organize my files to see the labeling quite clearly when looking down into the files or facing the front of them. They are so easy to print and make the labels. This product holds up well as I rotate files for new use after a four year cycle. I highly recommend them for the ease of use and clarity to find my files. This product improves my efficiency in the office setting.

Great Product - Wish I knew about these sooner !
I recently began using the Smead Viewable labels at work and I have to say they are the greatest product for organization that I have ever used. Easy to print and attach the tabs to hanging folders. They make finding documents in my files cabinets 10 times easier. Saves on time and provides a great uniformity for records management.

IAAP - I've said it before and I'll say it again!
I first saw the Smead Viewables Labeling System at an IAAP conference. Since then, I have been sold!! We use them exclusively in our office for every file! They are so easy to use and color code. Favorite Organizational Product!
I use Smead Viewables Lableing System for every client - the color-coding and the ability to view the files from above, the back as well as the front make these by far the most categorically optimizing product on the market! They are a great value and I love that you can get refills of the separate items, rather than having to buy them all at once.

I had been using Smead's Viewables tabs for years. Gave it away when I became paperless. I realized working with actual files makes it easier and less headache. Used folders labeled with markers. It is tiring to my fingers so Viewables came to life again.

Best Filing System Available
I learned about Smead Viewables when I worked at a temp agency. I bought my own set and took it to every future temp assignment and amazed the client with this incredible filing system. When I settled into a permanent Executive Assistant / Office Manager position, I shared Smead Viewables with my peers - much to their delight. Lining up the top label takes some practice, but once you've got it you will be impressing bosses and clients with little effort. The software and product make you look GOOD!

Wish it was Copier compatiable
I really like these labels! However recently our supervisor had issues with other labels for " laser and inkjet " messing up our "copier" printer. As result of that we cant use any more labels that don't say Copier on the back. I have searched high an low for these in copier type but cant find anything. Any ideas on what you may have available?

Human Resource Filing Face Lift
I have revamped the HR Department for two different types of companies through the use of these labels. These labels helped organize the different types of departments while maintaining the Alpha filing system! Coolest Labeling System Ever!
I have used these for both personal and business applications. Nothing beats the easy to read labels that don't get lost in the file cabinet. Filing is a breeze, and so is finding what you need easily with just a glance. I'll never be without these again!

Good design of tab labels allows for efficient organization and quick view.
The User guide and Help Screen are not easy to follow.
The software used to create the label coud use LOTS of improvement.
- It only saves labels as export to a csv file. It would be much easier if there was an option to save labels as a word template, instead of exporting them to a csv file.
- It doesn't allow the user to select multiple labels and apply the same color to the entire selection. Applying a color to a sheet of 16 labels, one at a time is very time consuming and frustrating.
- IT doesn't give an option to print to PDF.

I implemented a file overhaul in 2008, and these are still the only files I can find reliably, and the tabs are in great shape. When I decided it was time to start over, I was dismayed to find no supplies at my local store, nor support for my Mac from Smead. I like this system well enough that I will borrow a Windows PC in order to use it.

Hanging Folders Refill Pack 64905
The ink from my laserjet completely smears with almost every print on their refill sets. The plastic used to cover the labels are extremely difficult to align and you cannot make a mistake or you will have bubbles or smeared ink on the few that actually print well. This product is way to expensive for so much waste. If they could use better quality labels and find a way to let the user guide how the clear label adheres then this would be a great product. When the ink is not smeared and you manage to carefully get the clear coating on correctly, they are wonderful labels to use. It's just that you get maybe 2 labels.

This was a great product for my office until we switch to Mac. I never would of imagined that they wouldn't have a program to print them. So now I either need to buy a copy of windows or switch to a new file labeling system. Very disappointing.

When I needed to update my filing system, I found this system was the simplest and most effective for my office. Having the files all on one side, having them in color order, and having them in alphabetical order made saving and retreiving simple and productive.

I love this labeling system and how easy it is to use!
My boss never had an assistant. His filing system was atrocious. I was given the task of organizing AND color coding his files. This system made it SO simple to do. And moreover, if I need to add a single file, I don't waste a whole label sheet. I also can recreate the same labels if I want/need because it saves what I've done until I erase them.

Viewables are a great time saver.

I have used these ever since they came out and converted many to it. It's clear, clean and precise. I love to color code so it's perfect for me. The only drawback I have found is that some of our files are end tab and I would prefer to have the font be reversed on the back side so the bottom of the print is closest to the fold on both sides. Not an option but still great. The added protective film is a little bit of a hassle but necessary or the ink seems to come off, but with it, the labels last forever and I use them on other items as well to protect and preserve.

Great and easy to use software shame I can not print. Every time I go to print the software crashes. I have done all the usual rebooted uninstalled and still no joy. They need to catch up with Avery where it can all be done on the web.

Poised, Professional, AND Practical
I was used to the standard plastic tab with inserts, but then I found THESE! You can go through the hassle of making a new label, putting it in the slot, putting the tab into the folder slots (and you KNOW you've broken a few of those from all the repeat usage)--OR you could use these! Our office has completely overhauled our filing with these and it looks like $1,000,000 bucks! It's also easier on your eyes, because it's visible from front back AND the top!

Best Executive Admin Organizing Tool
2005 I was a working as a Temporary Executive Assistant at a large Grocery Distributor and had to file some documents and opened up the file drawer and there they were, the best eye catching, easy to use, beautifully presented filing system. Perfect for a busy office!
I was given the task of organizing our client files and this system was recommended to me by an HR Manager for a large healthcare organization. I was amazed at how easy it was to convert our filing system to Smead Viewables and at how much time I have saved by not having to sort through files to try to find the small plastic hanging file folder labels. This software is the most un-user friendly software I have ever used. In fact, I can't even use it because of how terrible it is. I would not recommend this service to anyone that needs to get anything done quickly, correctly, and efficiently. Smead is not ANY of those.

We use the Viewable labels at the high school office I work in. It really keeps my boss organized and it is so easy to just open the drawer and go right to the file. It really just jumps right out at you.
I really can't think of anything that I DON'T like about this product.

This is the best product for hanging file folders!! I've always had trouble seeing those see through plastic hanging file tabs, this is the solution! I love using this with my extra large tab file folders so I can still see the content of the hanging file. So happy!!

The answer to my paper problems
For many years, I tried countless filing systems, but none lasted long enough because they were too cumbersome or complicated. There was always something different that I ended up trying. After all those years, Smead came up with the answer: Viewables! It's not just a product, it's a system!
I've color-coded the types of files I keep. For example, red folders and tabs for tax-deductible expenses (micro-money); purple folders and tabs for daily files; yellow for all of my cats' medical files and expenses; green for the macro-money view; and blue for my own "life-reference" materials such as medical history, education and financial aid, user manuals and warranties, and a "memory" file.
There are so many colors available. If I decide to split a category (such as all the stuff in the "life-reference" materials), I can do so easily by just adding another color. Simple! No stress!
When I remove a file to work on, the internal folder matches the color of the hanging folder (and the tab, of course), so it's easy to put the folder back in its place. When I'm cleaning off my desk at the end of the day, seeing a colored folder on my desk reminds me to put it away... and I know exactly where to put it! The folders have their own place in the four file drawers I have, so I always know where to find the folders I want and where to put them away.
The Smead Viewables system has made--and kept--me organized. Paper clutter is a thing of the past! Now if there was a Smead Viewables system for my computer, that would be awesome!
You don't have to have a large file system to make this work for you. Whatever you want to keep track of, this will work for you. I can't believe it was the answer after so many years of trying very expensive systems. Stop the madness! Simplify! You'll like the looks of your files so much that you'll enjoy working with it... yep, you'll actually enjoy filing!

My files have never looked better and completely organized. I had no problem with the software and it helped me establish my colors. Best part is I used a certain color file jacket for each office. Now when a file is left out, we know just what office it goes in.

The online program to create the labels was easy to use, however, putting the labels on the 3D tabs took some practice. After I caught the hang of it it was pretty quick. Plan on spend some time if you have alot of files

We intended to use your "premium" filing labels of folders filling three 4-drawer cabinets. The sticker adhesive began failing (labels peeling off) almost as soon as we applied them. By the next day most had become at least partially detached. Care was taken during installation to make sure the labels were properly applied. Examination of labels should little adhesive remained on the label once the became detached.

Awesome Labels, Easy to Use
Received Labels & Tabs, plus I bought all new hanging files and folders in great colors. Worked good after I went over the instructions several times. I think more needs to be done with the instructions to explain step by step what you need to do, to ultimately get labels to print. I'm haven't worked in an office for many years, so therefor not used to making labels via internet etc. Instruction Sheet should be included either online or in box, as just looking at the labels and trying to match up with page on Viewables, leaves a lot to be desired. It wasn't until I clicked on various things that I found the "Dimensions" Sheet to set up my printer, There's several other things also, that would make it much more easy...especially for "none" office people.

This is a really great product, The labels do not come off if you use the clear protective sheets that are supplied in the package. It acts almost like a laminate on the labels, waterproofing and adding stability to the whole label. It takes just a few extra steps to apply the labels properly, but no regrets once its done. I have used them and now family members are too.
