Good Sound but Awkward Charging
I had used the Voyager Pro for years and loved it but lost the device and purchased this new Legend series. I do not like the charging as I had to purchase new charging leads for my car and motorcycle. The more common mini USB charging port is much more flexible and secure as the magnetic hold which is not secure and the device often falls of the charger. В For the first time, I had to update the firmware in the device too. The firmware was current but the device stopped working. I reinstalled the firmware and the device returned to service. В I like the old voyager much better as it was more hardier and used common charging ports.В

It doesn't get any better than this...
I've been using bluetooth devices since the beginning. This device by far outperforms all others. Sound quality, talk time, features (voice enabled for answer/ignore, mute button) and the accompanying charging options are perfect for the road warrior like me. No sense looking at any other device - this is the one.

Versatile and very comfortable
I am now wearing this device all day and forget that I have it on. It seamlessly switches between my work soft phone (Cisco UPC), cell phone and Webinar applications. It has great sound quality noise reduction. This device has great battery life.

I'm a heavy corporate user for many years, and this product is the best I've ever used. Sleek, lightweight, intuitive, easy to use and charge. All of the vital amenities without overkill. As long as it stands the test of time and heavy use, I'll be happy. My boss now wants one (or two!)

Purchased this roughly 3 weeks ago. Haven't used it a ton, but it seems like it will really come in handy while I'm on the road. Charging is definitely a little awkward. Bought in conjunction with the MDA 200 so I can use it with my desk phone and computer as well. You have to download software to use on the computer. Otherwise, no complaints. It's really comfortable and I forget it's even there.

great product...if it didnt crash
I bought this legend to replace my voyager pro, which lasted for 3 year's before the battery wouldn't hold its charge any longer. Ok, this is supposed to be a better product, which upgrades are supposed to be. My first one lasted exactly 1 month before it just died. it wouldn't connect to my phones, you couldn't hear the voice prompts when you turned it on. NOTHING!! Took it back to where I bought it, and they replaced it. It lasted 2 months, then the same thing happened. It's not a charging issue, cause I charged it all night long, and blue light was blinking. Took it back again, they replaced it again, and it lasted 2 months also,. I am now going back and hopefully they will allow me to replace it with a different brand. WHY DID THEY CHANGE FROM THE PRO????? And we wont even mention that awful magnetic charger they give you. Don't loose it, or your unit is USELESS !!!

Great if not best Bluetooth headset!
I just got my new Voyager Legend UC upgrading from the previous Voyager UC and LOVE it. The new charging technology is one of the best features because there is no fumbling around with mini-USB ports and cords. The way it "pops-in" to what I am going to call my desk "cradle" is so nice for my preference to either easily "rest" the headset and or quickly grab when I want to use it. Because one can easily use USB in the car too or airplanes, there should be no complaint to suggest that the "old way" of charging is better. I have not tried the case charging method but again see its advantages when traveling to keep in handy and charged stored in my laptop case or purse.
Thanks for the continued great customer support and kudos for your innovation on this new model.

It will only charge if plugged into a wall outlet. It will not charge while plugged in to my PC's.
It won't pair with my laptop Bluetooth. It won't pair with my PC's Bluetooth. Forced to use the dongle that came with it that won't work if plugged into a hub.
The voice AI tries to pair with every command I say. All she wants to do is pair. I don't think that it understands me.
It doesn't really fit into my ear. It kind of sits all wonky on the edge and sometimes will slip to a position that causes it to muffle.
The sound quality for music is abysmal. The highs are almost non existent and all sound is muffled.
When it is working the sound quality is superb for phone calls. That's the only reason it gets a star.

Mini-Adapter is too big and loose.
the seller claim the mini adapter is mini, and can be always on. However, it is too big, and it is loose in the USB port. I lost it in the first day! And Now I have no connection to PC. While my wireless adapter is always on and I never had issues of losing it.

I bought this a while ago after my last voyager wore out from old age. I really enjoy this headset. It is comfortable to use when I am driving to and from my current home and my home town and is easy to use on long road trips. All I have to do is turn it on and it pairs instantly with my phone. I love this headset and would not hesitate to buy this same one over and over again when it needs to be replaced. I have gone through several different brands and styles of headphones and none of them even come close to this.

Connected personal and business
What a fantastic unit that I have had for over 6 months. Talk about clear, clean communication on the road and off the road. My greatest challenge was the individual's I speak. They would ask me to repeat myself because of the noise around me. Since I have owned the legend uc, it does not matter if I am taking my dog for a walk, driving in my car or working on my computer the recipient can hear me loud and clear. As it goes for how people sound on my end is absolutely awesome. Clear and crisp phone conversations all around now. I LOVE the connection for my computer when I have my weekly Go-To-Meeting conference calls.
My wife would call me a blue tooth junky because I was constantly purchasing Bluetooth ear pieces because I could not find one that was comfortable, clear and crisp sounding until I tried the Plantronics Legend. Thank you Plantronics for creating the number one (#1) Bluetooth ear piece in the market.

Great device. The best way I can describe it is, it just works. It connects when it's supposed to, exceptional quality, and wonderful warranty support along with online support for bios updates. Just and overall great product. I have 75 of these, and I rarely have issues. Comfortable, reliable, and updatable. They are highly recommended!

I work from home and use it with a soft phone and it is excellent. I can answer the phone while I am not at my desk and the calls are always clear. I can also have it connected to my iPhone at the same time and it is great in the car!

Use it the entire day... Sad I lost it
I had the jawbone legend UC for about a year. A day in its life started from being on my ear to listen to podcast when in the car to the airport, then charging it when passing security, then on calls when at the airline lounge, back in its case for charging, returning calls when I landed, listening to an ebook when driving to my client and there taking calls on Microsoft Lync.
Hours of having in on my ear. Never a problem, never a missing beat.
I lost it 2 weeks ago when I forgot my jacket.
I am sad now.
And since it was so good and such a part of my everyday, I know I will be buying a new one soon. It just fitted my lifestyle.

I've had one since they first came out and use it every day. If I forget this thing at home.. it's going to be a bad day. I'm a UC engineer and deploy Cisco UC systems for our customers so I'm always moving around (my desk travels with me in my bag) and in front of many different devices & apps.
1. Charging case. Fantastic. Charge it once a week and I always have a charged headset. Also protects my headset when it's rolling around in my bag and keeps track of the USB dongle.
2. USB Dongle - Built-in Bluetooth on my laptop has proven flakey across a number of Bluetooth devices. This USB dongle works every time, provides a consistent connection for great audio and works with every app.
3. Headset - Forget it's on my ear. It looks big, but is super comfortable. I've never had a complaint about audio quality, in fact, just the opposite. People say it sounds great and ask what I'm using so they can get one.
Can't say enough good things about this headset and recommend it to all of my customers.

What was once a great product just stopped working. WORSE is plantronics customer disservice. $102 for a refurbished replacement when NEW they are $140. 11

This is the clearest, most comfortable Bluetooth headset I've ever used. When I wear it, I forget it's there, until the phone rings. The battery life is great and the audio quality is good in both directions. People usually hear no background noise when I'm on a call. I've had two. The first one physically broke due to an unfortunate incident. When I had an opportunity to replace it, I chose the same kind. It works great for me.

I have used a voyager pro for years until the legend. Great sound quality and features. Caller ID announce is wonderful. Magnetic charger takes some getting used to but I like it better than the standard micro USB style. Very comfortable and easy to forget you are wearing it.

Great Improvement Over a Wired Microphone
The product is simple to store, charge, and maintain. The accuracy for dictation is not perfect at the moment although it is improving with time and practice. The transition between mobile devices and my computer easy and helps productivity.

This is my second Plantronics Bluetooth and I stepped up a level this time. I love the way it wears and the sound quality is good. I do find that with the iPhone 6 it looses connection during conversations as I am driving around. My previous one never did that. Overall I still love it and believe Plantronics is THE best on the market.

I love my Voyager Legend UC
This is my 3rd one. I do like it very well. Just wish they would make one a little bit more comfortable for a person who wear glasses. I like the behind the ear but because of my glasses it isn't always comfortable.

I purchased this about 3 years ago and use it daily. I bought this because of the talk time of 7 hours. I hasn't disappointed me at all. I am on the phone constantly for my job and at time for extended periods of time. Only critique is when I am in a call I don't get much warning when the battery is getting low before the headset shuts off. It has been very comfortable to wear. I put it on when I leave for work and take it off when I get home.

Lovely sound, fit and quality!
I had a cheap BT headset before but wanted a Plantronics Voyager ever since it came out. By the time I had the money, the Voyager Legend UC came out. Best of both worlds with the extremely-comfortable earpiece with connectivity to both my computer and my phone. I have small ears and have a hard time getting a BT earpiece to stay in. With the removable cloth eartip covers and the solid ear-hook, I've never had a problem with the Legend UC coming out. The sound is amazing, I use it for handsfree when driving and no one has ever commented negatively on the quality of my voice and call. The charging case is very handy, I can forget about charging my Legend UC for a month! The desktop stand is very nice, though I've yet to use it heavily. The packaging was very simple, all the accessories are useful. Thank you for a quality product.

I love the Plantronics line that I am up to my ninth set. The most recent generation of headset, the Voyager Legend has been one of remarkable standing, like no other I have ever seen and trust me I have seen more than the average person. The Voyager Legend is what I would call a smart headset, as it talks to you, it gives you information the caller, calling you or texting you, it will also allow you to text via voice. The overall take on this headset is way way up there, compare to others on the market today.

This Headset Is A Must Have
This headset has been the best experience I've ever had with a bluetooth headset. I used other Plantronics headsets before but this one seems to be the one that has the best features and stays connected the best.\
\
I use this at home on my phone AND computer (Lync) all the time and never have had any complaints. The only reason I had to buy a new one this week was because i left my old one in my shorts and it went through the washer and dryer. I think this is the only way to kill one of these, as I take it on the road and constantly tossing this in my bag, my pocket or on my desk.\
\
Although the price may be a little more than other headsets, in this case you clearly "Get What You Pay For".

I have been in the wireless industry for 20 years and used almost every headset from the top companies. This is my 4th Plantronics headset and it is the best yet. I especially like the carry/charging unit. So simple and it keeps me connected when traveling.

I bought this 1 month ago and has been worth a lot, have many conference call daily on my computer and this provides me the oportunity to move and not loose conection, i have mobile and computer conection at same time which is what I need, great product, packaging, performance etc

I bought this system while traveling and found it to be the single best headset I ever owned. Unfortunately, I let my stepson try it, so it wrnt permanently from my house to his. I missed it so much, I bought another entire system. The battery life, standby and talk time are phenomenal. Keep up the good work.

Great mic quality, OK fit
I purchased this microphone to do some voice recording on a PC.\
The noise canceling it provided when compared against a unidirectional wired microphone was exceptional. However when gathering recordings most people found the Voyager Legend UC difficult to put on and stay in their ear. I have found that selecting the right ear attachment helps, but the device still feels insecure. One point of troubleshooting was figuring out how to activate the mic when using with PC software other than Skype. This required first initiating a Skype call from the headset then ending it. After this step the microphone would send to PC applications other than Skype.

I've had this for 2+ years and by far the best Bluetooth headset I've had, hands down. Need a new one, I'd say a life of regular use of about 3 yrs, I need a new one.

My agency bought the Voyager Legend to go with our new desk phones about year ago. Loved the setting. It was light weight and their was no cords to hassle with. After about a month I would walk away from my office and come back after 5-10 minutes do to a meeting or something and their would be several missed calls. My wireless ear set never rang or beeped. I notified our IT Bureau of the issue and they replaced it with a new one (some type an style). Within another month the same thing happened to the new one. I made sure that their was no updates or anything that I needed to do (their was nothing). So, once again I notified my IT Bureau and they said they had no clue what the issue was. I asked several others that walk away from their desks if they was having the same issue and they was. Just to be clear I am still in range for my phone to pick up.

The best blue-tooth I've ever owned....
Going on 2yrs now and for my wife 1yr. We're experiencing excellent service from this device. It's sturdy and the sound quality is excellent between us and our friends. Talk time is very sufficient we're talking close to an 8hr day at work. The charge time for these bad boys is like, we get a full 7hr charge in about 30 minutes. Can you believe that? I don't know exactly how this device could be upgraded (although I haven't tried the other series). But it seems most other reviews I've seen are from ppl who have this model. I think it's well worth the price and it's stylish too. This is in my opinion, a quality product compared to competitors (I can't mention bc of guide lines) I've been through the last 10 yrs. I'm staying with this model.

I bought this about two years ago to use in my work. Everyday I pair it with a Motorola DP4801e every day for an 8 1/2 hour shift. The headset works great with the two way radio. I presents a clear volume loud enough to hear in very noisy conditions. The only draw back is the battery. I clock in about 2:30 in the afternoon and by 7:30 that evening the battery wants to be charged. I usually charge while I am eating dinner and it's good to go until the end of shift at 11:00 PM. I love this headset and would buy another. I have recommended it to several co-workers. I wish Plantronics could somehow increase the battery time even though it recharges in about 30 minutes.

I have owned three Plantronics bluetooth products based on this design. I have found them to be more comfortable than any other device of its kind. I have owned both the pro-plantronics and the PLT_Legend. I feel like I got lucky twice because the last one I owned had a serious connectivity problem while hosting phone calls with samsong phones. It would randomly "connect/disconnect for no reason. From what I've read in these reviews, the issue seems to relate Plantronics devices having compatibility issues with other devices. Sadly, because I love the style and overall design of these Plantronics devices, I will soon purchase another one and it will last until the housing/casing deteriorates. This Voyager Legend UC is the one I will buy.

When it works - it works lovely. Premium product - ALL of the things they SAY about it are true. Too bad the things the Don't say about it are a deal breaker. Unfortunately it is Such a struggle to charge this premium priced product I am forced to shop for another solution. Why would anyone not place a simple, durable and reliable micro USB connector on here is bizarre. Instead someone dreams up a pie in the sky contraption, attaches it to a sales pitch and lets the consumer be the guinea pig at the cost of hundreds of dollars.\

Plantronics makes premium products and will likely purchase another plantronics product but this is a dud. Do not buy this you will end up with so much frustration that you will shop for another product like I am.
