Workhorse great for Home of Office
This printer is obviously geared more toward business users, but is also great for a family with two kids who are constantly needing to print and scan various things for school. The auto duplexing for both printing and scanning worked flawlessly and I experienced zero jams while doing either one. The quality of printed text and graphics were clear and crisp. I was also pleased that I didn’t have to go through the hassle of figuring out which lines appeared to be completely vertical for the print head alignment process. I would recommend this printer to others, but would also caution them about making sure they have room for it.\
\
The printer came nicely packaged. Moving parts that could have been damaged during shipping were secured very well and the tape was easy to find and remove. Initial setup of the printer was straight forward and painless. A firmware update was necessary out of the box and the printer handled that without a lot of user intervention after giving the go ahead for the update. I went the WiFi route for connection to my home network and have had no drops in connectivity (an unusual phenomenon in my experience). I did a test print using the NFC functionality from my phone and it worked as advertised. I don’t imagine I’ll use the NFC functionality very often, but it does work as expected.\
\
All the controls and indications were easy to access and figure out without the need to go search through the User's Guide. The control panel is laid out well, very responsive and easy to use.\
\
The printer’s dedicated email address and Google Cloud Print are highly useful when you need to print something and are not on the same network as the printer.\

Excellent All-In-One Printer
I have been using the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 for a few weeks now and I have had no problems with it and it has met and exceeded any of my expectations since it has arrived. \
When I first got the printer I was impressed with the size of the All-in-One Printer. I knew it was going to be able the handle the jobs of printing, copying, scanning and sending a fax. It is quick and easy to set up to get ready to use for the first time. It has step-by-step instructions and a CD to install your software on your computer. The big LED screen helps you walk through the process too, so there is no confusion. The control panel is easy to use and walks you through what operation you are choosing to do at that time. After setting up the time and language you then insert the ink cartridges to charge a few minutes and you are ready to print. The whole process takes 10-15 minutes. \
I like the fact that this particular printer has dual front loading paper trays that you can use standard and legal size paper, labels and envelopes. The trays have adjustable sliders to fit most any size paper you will need to use. It has a back loader feeder tray that is a great option to have too. The qualities of the copies are bright, crisp and professional looking. The colors are amazing and there are no lines or smudging when printing in color.\
The printer can be hard-wired or used with Wi-Fi. We set our printer up using Wi-Fi and are able to use the printer from our laptops, tablets and phones. There is a port for your phone line for the fax line to be added. Over-all I am impressed with what the WorkForce WF-7220 has done for me and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for an All-In-One printer. “This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.”

Capacitive touch screen and NFC are standouts.
I’ve had the Epson WorkForce printer for 2 weeks now and I couldn’t be happier with it. Let’s start with the wide format capabilities, it plays well with Microsoft Publisher. I was able to create vibrant, massive flyers, on the verge of being posters. The print time, for my project, using the wide format less than 2 times that of standard letter size. As an aside the printer seems more stable than my previous printer (doesn’t shake the printer cart to destruction). The dual paper cassettes are both wide format capable.\
\
Epson makes great photo printers, this WorkForce printer must take some cues from those because I when I printed out a few 8x10 test prints they came out *almost* as good as my Epson Photo Printer. The WorkForce printer doesn’t use the Photo Black cartridge, which I see as positive since there’s only 1 Black ink cartridge to go dry. I had to replace the ink cartridges after the printing the posters, which was a breeze, because of the printer’s size the cover opens wide.\
\
I never knew I needed an auto document feeder for making copies, while the amount handled on a normal day is about 10 copies, the ADF makes the task at least 2x as quick as doing it manually. The only feature I did not test was the Fax, I use an online fax service and couldn’t move them over in time.\
\
My favorite part of the printer has to be the screen though, it’s a capacitive touch screen, not a resistive one, so it is as responsive as one on a smartphone. It’s large enough to make getting to the settings you need quick. There’s also a handy feature that I found myself using all the time, the NFC functionality. All I had to do was bring my phone near the NFC logo and it would automatically pull the “Epson iPrint” app so you can get right into printing from your phone.\

Robust Feature full printer
I am upgrading from a WF-3640 so this printer is pretty similar but with a few key upgrades. First off the large touch screen allows easy configuration. For the initial set-up I used the web interface which made it really easy to configure any of the settings from my computer, but as I made a couple adjustments on the fly the large touch screen really helped out. The ability to print wide format is not something I used everyday, but does give me a lot more flexibility in my home office, which I'm sure will save me a few trips to fed ex office in the future. \
\
The print quality remains about the same as it was on my previous WF-3640, but that is great because that is bright colored pages and clear quick black and white pages. I am still impressed when printing a quality photo how well this printer is able to do it. Another key feature that carried over from my old WF-3640 is the dual printer trays which makes it really easy to keep a large tray full of standard 8.5x11 pages while keeping the secondary loaded with legal size paper. No switching back and forth with stacks of paper for me! \

This printer is absolutely awesome! I was nervous the set up was going to be difficult because I don't have much experience with setting up printers, scanners or fax machines, but it was really easy with the instructions sent. The installation took some time but everything worked the first time around and registration was easy. Inserting the ink cartridges and setting the main settings on the screen were easy as well, but I had problems with the paper tray at first. I loaded the paper the wrong way and the printer detected that and actually told me what I did wrong which is awesome. After everything was set up the test paper printed properly and it was ready to go.\
\
I print and scan a lot of papers between my children's school work, projects and my husbands side job so this printer is the perfect size. It fits right next to my desk perfectly and is not that hard to pick up and move alone if I absolutely have to move it. The quality of the prints and scans are clear, legible and the pictures coming out looking the same as they do on my screen. I don't hear the page actually printing, just the paper loading and coming out into the finish tray. I have not actually faxed anything yet but I have set up my number in the fax settings for when I do. Another feature I tried and was successful with was the mobile printing which requires the app to be downloaded but is not a big deal. Everything still prints fast just like it was coming from the computer. \
\
Overall, this printer makes my life so much easier and convenient and will help me save a ton of money on printing, scanning and faxing. This is a review for the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Full Featured printer for a small office or home office
I'm quiet impressed with this Multi-function device (MFD). I work for a large corporate office that has many MFDs in our office, and have used this one in my home office. WOW, this printer can hold it's own next to the printers at my office. A few of the unique features that I enjoy are being able to actually preview a print on the touchscreen before printing. (This is an option and is not required every time). I also love the ability to email my documents to the printer. This works so when I'm at the office or on the road I can email to my printer's unique email address, and it will be sitting in the printer tray waiting when I get home.\
\
Some of the other features that are really quiet incredible is the ability to print and scan up to 11"x17" pages. Stored print is also good if you have multiple people using the printer. Epson refers to this as "Confidential Print" , but essentially it stores your print until you are in front of the printer, keeping it either secure, or so it doesn't get mixed in with others prints. I'm also a huge fan of the ability to print using wireless, and also the ability to print in duplex.\
\
This is an incredibly full featured printer at a home printer price.\

Great All-In-One Printer!
I couldn't be happier with the printer that I received. I was a little surprised how big it was but for all the features it can do then it makes sense. The printer arrived safe in the package with all items I needed EVEN ink! This is so nice since I didn't consider that it would start me off with some ink which is a bonus in my book. Setting up the printer was so easy. Someone who has rarely touched a printer or set up any computer/tech products wouldn't have any problems. The instructions are straight forward and not many steps. It even can connect to my desktop and laptop through the wireless. I love it. I can be in any room and print to the printer. I did have an issue not realizing I loaded my paper the wrong direction so my print job was cut-off so placing an indication in white to stand out on the paper tray would be helpful (minor and personal preference). Making copies on the machine is such a breeze. I love the scanning option. This makes signing documents and emailing things to contacts at home perfect. I don't have to worry about taking it somewhere to get done. I have been using the Workforce WF-7720 for a little over 2 weeks and couldn't say but great things. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a printer, copier and scanner al in one! You won't find anything that is easy to use. Perfect for my home office
This is a short review of my experiences with the Epson Workforce WF-7720.\
\
I had limited experience with printer setup in general and no experience with setting a wifi printer up prior to obtaining this printer. When I pulled this unit out of the box and looked at the quick start guide, it all seemed pretty easy. The only thing I had to plug in was the power cord and I got started. From there, the setup was a breeze and I was printing within minutes from my laptop, iPad, and iPhone. This was huge for me that everything worked so smoothly from my iPad and iPhone because I do a lot of printing from them. The only problem I had was a slight problem at best…which was figuring out which direction to place the paper into the trays. That problem was easy conquered. Overall, I would say that I was very satisfied with the setup process. \
\
After setup, I went on to actually printing documents to see how day-to-day use worked out. I found that the wifi connectivity never failed me and the unit was always ready to go. I really liked that the printer had two trays for paper and each could be loaded with a different sized paper. Another great feature is the auto feeder on the top for copying larger documents. I printed emails, text documents containing graphics, and photographs with ease. The quality of the printed material seemed great. The colors appeared spot on and the photographs were pretty good considering that this printer does not have the sole purpose of printing photographs. Another thing that I liked about this printer was that I was never bothered by the minimal noise it produced. There have really been no negatives so far in the few weeks that I’ve had this printer. \
\
In conclusion, my opinion is that this printer is a solid contender. If it were me purchasing a printer for general home office or small business use, I would certainly choose a printer such as this primarily for its diversity, easy setup, and hassle free printing to name a few. This thing can print, copy, fax, and scan. The biggest pro by far in my opinion is that its connectivity is so strong. Having no problems at all with wifi connectivity was a huge relief. I really don’t think you could go wrong with this printer where all-in-one is a priority to save space and clutter. Thumbs-up Epson. \

Excellent Printer, a workhorse indeed!
Received the printer, and found the packaging to be simple, yet stabilizing for the equipment. The setup was extremely easy and uncomplicated. The only drawback was moving it due to the weight and some may find it challenging to move it without additional help. Setting up the printer was simplistic due to the easy to follow prompts on the touch screen control panel, and this includes connecting to my wireless network and mobile devices. The touch screen control panel commands are easy to understand and use, and include advanced settings where you can set a password due to it arriving without one by default. The ink cartridge installation was simple, but I do recommend following the instructions for the installation, as they are very specific. I had no issues with the provided driver disk, and found the overall setup process easy and efficient.\
The Epson app was easy to use and extremely helpful in regards to printing and scanning wirelessly, especially from the many mobile devices that are utilized in my work environment. I love the fact that I can email documents to the printers email address to be printed! A pleasant surprise was the printing speed, and ability to produce full color photos using the semi-gloss paper setting. The wide-format feature works extremely well and I was able to produce some high quality poster images for my office. The dual paper trays allow me to switch between different paper sizes, and the rear access was nice as a third option in regards to paper options.\
I have never owned an Epson printer before, but my opinion that the Epson Work Force WF-7720 is beast of a machine that provides all the capabilities I need, some I didn’t realize I wanted! The overall quality of this printer is excellent not to mention that Epson provides a two year warranty as well. This is a review for the Epson Work Force WF-7720 Wide Format All-in-One Printer that I received free of charge to do a beta test and review.

Easy to Set Up and Use, and Great Wireless Printing!
This printer was absolutely fantastic! The setup was extremely easy, including easy installation of ink cartridges. I was able to print a large quantity of high quality flyers, using a number of different colors. I have to say that the printer worked really well for those. \
\
As for wireless printing, all of my phones and devices printed wirelessly with literally no setup. The speed of printing from my phone was more than adequate, and I was very impressed. \
\
As for duplex printing, the printer works great as well. I printed a number of documents on both sides of the sheet. \
\
The printer did not experience any paper jams, and I had no issues at all while using it. The scanning feature and automatic document feeder are two things that in this printer, I was honestly impressed with. I was also happy with the touchscreen that came with this printer. It is a larger display than my larger printers, and it was easy to use and understand.\
\
I did not get a chance to use the fax feature; however, I do like that there was that option. \
\
I would definitely recommend this printer to anyone that wants a quality printer that can handle large print jobs as well.\

All around great printer!
I have had this printer for about a month now. The guided setup was super easy, and it didn't take long at all. It is a bit heavy though, and I could barely lift it. I connected my phone to my primer immediately and later connected my laptop. I am impressed with the capability of this printer. I do not like the plastic covers that are on the paper trays. They are slightly annoying with how easily they come off instead of just flipping back.\
\
So far, I have printed multiple lengthy documents without issue. As that was a problem with my old printer, I am happy that this one is able to print 50-100 pages relatively fast and without error. It is also quite efficient at scanning, and images are clear. I would highly recommend this printer to anyone looking for a workforce printer that is reasonably priced. The value is great! Many feactures. Easy to set up.
I just bought this two days ago and am very happy with it. Have many things do try on but so far the best printer I have ever owned. I am 77 years old and set it up my self. Had to have help getting out of box because of size. I would buy again in a heart beat.

I can't say enough good things about this printer. First and foremost set up was extremely easy. Everything is included in the box that you could need. There are no cables to plug into your computer as it connects wireless with no effort other than the push of a button. Driver installation was super easy on both my macs and pc's and each recognized the printer right away.\
\
The print quality is superb. It is on par with the quality of most laser printers and works well at printing photo's and my business marketing materials. It has plenty of features for businesses and crafters alike, including double sided booklet printing. It prints on a vast majority of paper sizes, and adjusting the printer and settings to those sizes is also super easy. My only warning with this printer is it's size. It is a larger size printer, which is great for offices, but may not be as great for home users. solid printer, but I'm disapponted
I bought this 7720 a little over a week ago...It is really nice, but not what I expected. I just tried to load some 11 X 17 paper in it, sorry folks, it doesn't hold it. I was under the impression that this handles "up to 11 X 17" and could print even larger-- wrong \
My primary reason for purchase was the ability to print Acad "b" prints- big mistake- I guess I can still feed them in, but not what I expected--

I recently bought this printer and am very dissatisfied with its performance. The printer gets confused when trying to print, saying paper isn't loaded correctly or a certain tray is out of paper when it's really not. It typically takes about 10 minutes to print a new document because it doesn't like the way the paper is or something insignificant. You have to take the paper out, reload it, confirm that paper is in, have the printer tell you it isn't loaded right, reload the paper again in the exact same way as before, and then finally it might print. I've never had so much trouble with a printer before.

I think I will like all the features of this printer as the work force series has always worked for me ( 3rd printer upgrade) but... installing the drivers and all of the 3rd party adds/ unnecessary "need to purchase" items have become very cumbersome for this non- techie user. A basic "this is what you need to print" option would be greatly appreciated.

Awesome Printer - Worst OS EVER!
Lots of great features and easy to use.... except if you need to change the admin password because you forgot it. You are forced to replace the entire unit. Seriously, no joke, Epson INTENTIONALLY did not build a reset capability in... and as of 8/21/2018... it is still this way and Epson knows about it. Wow... just plain wow.

I just bought this printer last night. My selection was by default because my other one (another brand) after 32 days stopped scanning. I found the setup of my Epson WF-7720 printer was easy. The biggest problem was seeing the blue tape that had to be removed which looks the same as the blue plastic parts to someone who is red-green blind. Wish they used yellow tape or yellow plastic parts. Other than that everything went well. You should have no problems if you are not color-blind.

Just received this printer and finally got it set up. It is a really big printer and heavy! The set up instructions were a bit generic. If you have a password on your wifi you must select the manual wifi setup. And getting the 11 x 17 paper loaded was not simple. Haven't used it yet besides a test page but that printed great. The video on how to set up the printer on espson.com was extremely helpful. I realize the issues might be me but it could have been easier.

I bought this printer to print 13 x 19 sheets. It has proven an absolut nightmare to do so. Why can I not select the rea feeder, paper size, print my page, and be on my way. There is no way to select the rear feeder. It will only select one of the cassette trays. Do yourself a favor and avoid this printer. Life is too short and difficult as it is, I don't need the aggravation of dealing with this junk.

I had to buy this 7720 because the 7710 I had only lasted 2 years...it started printed poorly, even after I cleaned the print heads several times. After 2 years, the 7710 stopped printing. Hopefully, the 7720 lasts longer than 2 years.

The epson produces professional documents
I bought this printer a few months ago. I have used other name printers but this one the Epson has by far the most professional look and feel and touch. It has all the features I need for my business including scan to email, scan to computer, print from mobile devices. The Epson WF 7720 is an excellent choice. It produces the most professional documents, which is exactly what I was looking for in a multifunction device. Thank you so much for the best printing product out!!

Easy set up except for you obvious
Usually the easiest step, paper tray loading was a bit confusing as to the orientation of the paper. All of the instructions made it look like you were loading plain 8.5x11 horizontally. After a few minutes of reading everything plus the imprinted directions on the tray the natural vertical loading became obvious.\
\
During the charging process, the printer was scary noisy but not with the actual printing.

Nice product. Near perfect.
My third printer since my wf-4630 pro. Works great as a wireless printer. Good print quality. Good speed. I wish the Epson printers would have one feature the 4630 did: rear paper tray that supports more than a single sheet of paper.

Great features, especially the large format capability.
This is my second Workforce printer. I purchased this printer because I print a lot of \
11 x 17 drawings. The first one stopped working after four years of light duty use. I like the quality of the prints and the duplex feature.

Worst product I have ever owned.
I've had this printer for over 6 months. I have to use it daily for work and I can honestly say that I have never owned a worse printer. I have a problem everytime I try to use it. It absolutely refused to print over wifi so I bought a USB cable. Now everytime I try to use the USB cable I get a message saying I can't communicate because it's busy. Save yourself the money and a lot of headaches.

Prints fine but a pain in the neck
After using it for about a month I've found its a pain to switch between paper suzes because it keeps trying to default to standard suze, no matter how many times you change the settings on the computer print screen and the printer. The work aroubd is put non standard paper in tray 2. \
\
I hate that i can't just push the butoon in the scan to a default file. I have to use the computer icon and scan from the computer app. Also, default factory scan settings are atrocious. Virtually nothing scanned is legible on the computer image. Must scan at higher resolution. Bonus is that it does allow 1200dpi scan. \
\
Really slows down the work flow when you have to keep getting up and down to change settings either on the printer or the computer app. \
\
It's also wicked heavy and large. Thought it woukd be smallet and the packaging was just extra bulky. Nope. It's not easily moved. \
\
If it didnt have the ability to print extra latge paper, i wouldn't buy it again.

When my old Epson printer died, and I had to rush to the store to get an immediate replacement, I feared that the whole day would be taken on installing and configuring the new printer on our home office network. To my great surprise and amazement, this WF-7720 printer was so easy to install, that I was actually able to catch my mid-day flight that day. This printer is a bit large, but it is quiet and fast and the scanner actually feeds pages properly. This thing is awesome!! Upgrading from our old printer was long overdue, but I am really glad we did.

I really like my new WorkForce. It's my 2nd WorkForce. This one has a strange document naming methodology for scanning and the back paper feed doesn't seem to work like it should (maybe user error) but all in all I like the device. About the back feed: I print checks from Quickbooks but the checks will never feed in properly w/o the printer ejecting the check prematurely. I can't seem to figure this out but otherwise I like the printer.

Unfortunately, I have been very disappointed in the Epson WorkForce WF-7720 Wide-Format All-in-One. This printer is finicky at best—that is, it is not easy to use, and its various controls mean even the most mundane printing task is a chore. Even the on-off button is finicky. The paper trays fit loosely, as if they're going to fall out. Paper-tray "mismatch" errors occur no matter how you arrange the paper in the tray. And if you do get a mismatch error, it can't be resolved from your computer; you've got to go to the machine and click through the menus and say, yes, yes, print! Paper is in the tray! It takes multiple clicks through multiple screens just to convince the printer that the paper is OK. Just print! I want a new printer but feel that I spent too much on this printer and must live it for now.

However, my printer/fax/copy machine has lost connection to my router. I tried to enter it manually and so forth to no avail. We ended up having to plug in a cable to reconnect it. Very inconvenient when one of the main features was Bluetooth connectivity. It told me I needed to update the firmware and then when I tried it said it couldn't be downgraded. I don't get this. Either it needs updating or it doesn't.

We had to bvb replace a 10 year old Canon combo printer.\
I'm impressed with the quality of our Epson WorkForce WF 7720, easy to setup and the WiFi printing is great, the WorkForce is over 40 feet away and it's no problem for this printer, haven't had a need for the fax mode so far, I'm sure this will not be a problem.\
So glad I purchased this Epson, looking for many years of good service from it.

This printer is perfect for a serious home office. It duplex prints and has large paper trays that hold plenty. Even does 11 X 17 and legal. The Wifi was easy to set up and it prints from all devices in the house even via the web\
In short, I like it.

Often uneven paper feed and always uneven fax reception printing leaving copies crooked. Have had to the repair shop but always the same. Also often pulls too many pages at one time. Paper jam area is in the back making awkward for removal. Doesn't continue to print even in black if a color cartridge is empty. Haven't found a way to use a draft setting to save on ink while printing though density choice is available for copying and scanning. Doesn't offer default to pull from 2nd paper bin if 1st is out. Color prints and photos are good, but not being able to bypass stoppage due to one color cartridge being empty is a nuisance.

I've only had this printer for just over a week, but I really like the way it copies and prints. The only thing I find annoying is that you have to make sure the paper settings in your computer "print properties" dropdown boxes match (exactly) the paper settings on your printer, or it will not print. You will get an error message telling you that they don't match. Setting the presets in your computer "print properties" will help, most of the time, but you have to check it each time you print, to ensure that it's what you want.

Beats the Happy Printer Competiton HANDS DOWN
This printer was so much easier to set up than others. I have used HP & Canon Epson I still use an EPSON scanner for business document storage . I should have stuck with the Epson Brand because of the Luck and reliability with the Epson Scanner. This printer has quality, features and value all over it!! I had an HP for less than 2 years what a joke got jammed often, Lost internet on a whim, it was a hassle and after two years... sorry your warrantee ran out, your out of luck.

Purchased this all in one printer for our small company because it had the option to print 11x17 or 13x19 prints. It has 2 paper trays but the trays are only deep enough to hold \
8 1/2 x 11 paper. There is an additional slot in the back of the machine for larger paper but you can only put in 1 sheet at a time. This is a little annoying when you are printing multiple pages of plans/documents on the larger sized paper.

I bought this printer thinking that I might use the wide format feature, but its main use is in my home office. It's a very frustratingId machine. It will tell me it's out of paper when there is paper in the tray. On its own, it will suddenly change the size of paper that it thinks is in the tray, leading to paper "mismatch" issues that require a lot of time to straighten out. It will only print jpg files with "premium paper"--and the machine tells me that premium paper is not loaded when I try to override it. It does not print envelopes at all well--I have had to go to a different printer for envelopes. Finally, the controls are not intuitive, nor do they "learn." Example: whenever I want to scan, I have to indicate "which" computer I want to scan to. There is only one computer hooked up to the printer. It should be able to discern that, so that the annoying extra step of specifying which printer could be eliminated. (My prior printer had that feature.) The scanner frequently scans items off-kilter, so they have to be re-scanned.I had high hopes for this printer, but it has been a real disappointment.

works great like it's supposed to. The "scan to computer" is a bit quirky but it works. I have not figured out yet how to print to a network drive, not so straight forward, but I'll give it chance, I just have to look into it a bit deeper. I hope it is still working in 5 years from now. I hope it is not engineered to fail like the (3) previous garbage printers I bought from HP.

Printer doesn't print the correct size page
When I try to print on 8.5x11 I set the printer to 8.5x11 the printer starts to print on 11x17. I have to go to the printer and punch in the correct paper size. Why doesn't the setting automatic work? I tried to copy an 8.5x11 page by putting it through the top after setting 8.5x11 at my pc but the printer starting printing on 11x17. I had the cassette 1, 8.5x11, set.
