I was so excited to receive this product and try it out. We are a homeschooling family with three boys and this is a wonderful product for our school room as well as for our home office. I tried the sample pouches that came with it. The product heated up quickly. The pouches were easy to use and moved easily through the machine. The quality of the lamination was very good on small items (2in. by 4 in. identification badges) as well as the new menu sized pouches. I also tried the 4in by 6in pouches and the letter sized ones. I really wondered if it could handle the wide range of sizes and it did! We're going to enjoy this a lot!

I bought this machine and used it on card stock (not recommended). Worked great until the card stock ruined the roller tension. If you buy this laminator it will do a great job on regular paper. The things I laminated came out great.

The machine makes a loud knocking sound after the second time ever being used. Purchased for $99.98 at Sam's Club (happy birthday to me!). Was excited thinking I had a quality product. I am very disappointed.

I am a teacher and was so excited when I got this machine.  I laminate cards for station activities.  I have used it for less than 2 months.  I was so disappointed when I plugged it in, it turned on, and within 5 minutes it shut off and won't turn back on.

I received this Scotch Pro Laminator for free to review. I loved  that it heats up quickly, is cool to the touch and can laminate all of our projects. Great for a new teacher to have!

I got this laminator and it is great! I have used it on regular paper and card stock with zero issues. It heats up and is ready to use so quick! I like the ability to laminate larger items, too. Definitely a great item. Far surpasses other laminators I have used. Thanks!

I was very excited when I received the 3M-Scotch Pro Thermal Laminator to test for review from 3M. I decided the first thing I would laminate would be an old school picture of my son and I couldn't believe how simple it was to use! The instructions were very easy to follow and All I had to do was open the flap at the top where I put the picture (in the laminate sheet) in and press a button and in less than a minute it seemed like, it was done. After that I wanted to laminate everything LOL...This is so nice to protect so many important items that we all have and I gave it 5 stars and recommend to everyone.

This is a very good laminator when the gears are new. The problem is with the design. It is built with plastic gears that after 3 years will break apart causing the rollers to get stuck along with your laminating pouch. This unit would last much longer if they spent a couple of dollars and use metal gears to drive the rollers. It is designed to fail!

I am a preschool teacher and use this laminator for many of our class projects and teaching aids.  It is wonderful.  Heats up quickly and easy to use.  Love having the different laminator sheet thickness options and the wide opening.  A must have for the classroom!  I also have another one at home.

I bought this laminator a couple years ago.  I've used it a handful of times over that time.  Now since about 6 months ago, it wont turn on.  Horrible purchase.

Now every time I use it, it jams and I have to spend too much time trying to get the lamination paper out of the machine.  I have had it less than 6 months and I haven't used it on a regular basis.  Would love to know how to solve this problem.  I'm using Scotch brand sheets of the proper thickness.

I bought this laminator used it exactly 5 times.  Plugged it in tonight and it doesn't even start.  I tried different outlet and it doesn't start.  I also bought the laminating sheets (100) and now I'm left with 95 Scotch pouches. I will shop for another brand.
