I recently received this and it is everything I expected it to be! Cuts through sheets easily without any effort! Swingline has always had great products and this one is definitely a great product!

This is a great trimmer. I use it to trim down catalogue covers for notebooks. It is easy to use. I really like that you can lock down the blade, that way no one will get hurt.

I have to put this up very high from my neices and nephews and I don't have to worry about having a grip on it.

I cut coupons with this and it is perfect, and it doen't cost over $ 100.
Not even $40.

I bought this little cutter on amazon to do paper cuttings around my home office. this has been a excellent cutter. for small stuff like card stock, labels,gloss cover,and regular paper. it has been a dream. it does not compare to a professional cutter in any way.its a hobby based cutter and should treated as such. it fine for small home office to small business. i am a professional graphic artist . and i have used hydraulic cutter for years. I like this cutter for small stuff home impressed me. Blade is extremely sharp. be care full.

Cons are as follows non replacement blade. buy a new one its cheaper.
Once u start using it for heavy media it don't cut thin paper so good any more.
No paper holder/ no laser/ cheap plastic base
Finicky grid/tricky lock mechanism

Fantastic for using around the house for lite office use, children's school projects, cutting laminated pictures, etc. Why spend more on the expensive cutters when this does a great job for home office use? I highly recommend this cutter for home use.

This is a nice, light and sharp cutter. I wanted one for a long time and this one is a great choice. It cuts square and straight. The cutter can be moved and put anywhere because it is light weight. It has five small rubber legs on it so it does not scratch up the tables and such.
