Difficult to open
It kind of sticks and has to be opened several times to loosen up.

Annoying retraction feature
retraction feature is great, until it isn't. With use, it becomes loose, and retracts as you are trying to plug it into the computer, this may not seem as a big issue, but if you are using a laptop computer, sliding thing is on the bottom of this USB, so as it gets loose you gave to hold it so it wouldn't retract as you are plugging it in, not an easy task if your laptop is on a desk, or a docking station, it doesn't give you room to do that. I have stopped using this product because of it.
